Safe Playgrounds With Corner Trim

Poor maintenance related safety risks were more likely in playgrounds in lower income areas of New York than more well-off areas. These playgrounds had significantly more rusted equipment, trash, and damaged fall surfaces. There was a considerable lack of corner trim too. Low cost playground equipment is usually low cost because it is not as safe or as good quality as more expensive stuff. Would you really want your child playing on such equipment? Only the safest environments are what most parents want their child to play in. So paying a little bit extra for good quality playground equipment is a good idea because it is safer and will last longer.
Commercial playground companies offer a service of updating products for safer and more durable products for the children to play on. It is worth paying the extra money for the safe and long-lasting play that their equipment provides. Many cheaper playgrounds have wooden supports and beams which can give children splinters. Far safer and more durable are steel supports. These suppliers are also likely to supply you with materials to stop damage occurring to the equipment and surroundings, like corner trim which can absorb impact and reduce structural damage.
Play areas with ground made from concrete or asphalt still exist but they are dangerous. Not only is it prone to cracking and heat absorption, but these hard surfaces provide no cushioning for potential falls, which can increase the likelihood of severe injuries. Rubber tiles are what playground flooring should be covered in because it is softer for falls and sturdy enough to face the elements.
Sometimes it is possible to get all the equipment you need because the bigger playground retailers will customize your equipment. Look for a company who offers a large selection of play systems that you can mix and match to create your own unique play area. The designs should be tailored to provide challenging but safe commercial playground equipment for specific age groups.
