Did you find what you wanted?
Tue 20 Jul 2010
There are of course many reasons why someone would stay in the countryside perhaps in holidays Sussex and here are just some of those reasons.
Air/Smell
The air of the countryside is very fresh indeed and there is nothing better than getting up at the early hours of the morning, stepping outside and feeling just how fresh the air is in the air. A lot of the people that live in the cities seem to have the opinion that their serviced offices Farringdon actually have a better smell than the countryside and that the country smells like manure. Well of course this is going to be true if you are staying on a farm but there are not many people that do this.
Quiet
A lot of people like to go out to the country for a short break because you will find that the break is nice and quiet. Something that is really good for people that are working in front of computers all day long is that there is usually no technology at all in these places, it adds to the experience. Open fires are a must have if you are staying in a place around the countryside as it adds to the feeling.
Horse Riding
Going out on the country and actually riding a horse is something you really do need to take part in if you have not done it before. If you are staying in the country make sure you look out for a place where you can at least try this one out. You will certainly not regret doing this at all!
So there you have it, take a break from that web design job and get out there to explore the countryside!

If you are visiting Sussex to perhaps go to one of those holidays Sussex then I would advise that during your stay you should check out some of these towns and cities as well as locations, they are well worth a visit.
Brighton & Hove
The city was actually formed when the two towns joined forces to become the city and it is England’s most popular seaside resort. Brighton is very famous for its beach and its has many bars, restaurants, nightclubs, amusement arcades and seafood stations along the seafront and the beach itself has been given a blue flag. One of the most famous buildings in this city is of course the Royal Pavilion and it was built under King George IV and was later used as a WWI hospital.
Worthing
This one is not as grand as Brighton but many people still like to pay this town a visit, there are a fair number of things to do here. The mist famous building in Worthing has got to be the Dome cinema located along the seafront. This building started off as an ice rink when it was built in 1910 and has since gone on to become a 950 seated Cinema (built in 1922) and is still operating as one of the oldest cinemas in the country.
The South Downs
The good news about this area of land is that a lot of it is actually a national park now, this means a lot of the land cannot be built on. One of the big points of the area is Cissbury ring and it serves as the highest point in Worthing too. Many strange things are said to have gone on here in the past including ghost sightings, UFO sightings and devil worshipping

There are many reasons why going out and enjoying that lovely smell of bark mulch and compost whilst staying in a fancy cottage could do you some serious good.
Exercise
I would say that most of the world does not get enough of this at all. Going for long walks in the country are not as boring as people might first think and there is plenty of fun to be had going as both a couple or as an entire family. The muscles will start to work in the way that they are supposed too if you are walking and it will help burn off those calories.
Historic
Another great thing about the countryside is that there are so many historic landmarks and this could mean anything from a castle to the cottage you are staying in. this is one of the key reasons that many historians will take their holidays to the countryside as they get to relax and of course enjoy the setting for what they love.
Relaxation
The most important part of a holiday is really there when it comes to a cottage, relaxing has to be the most important thing there. Just wait until the winter settles in and then crack up the fire. This will really help you out and is a perfect setting for couples as combined with a nice cooked meal this could be the start of a very romantic evening.
Holiday cottages in Sussex are a great way to get away from it all and I would always recommend looking into them.
So when you are next thinking of going away it could well be worth looking into getting a cottage for the week or perhaps two.
Of course you do not have to go out on a cottage break, you could go somewhere a bit moreexpensive but I will say that you should try and get out of the house at least once this year to avoid stress
