Being working on cruise boats for several years as a photographer gave me the chance to meet many different people. Something that not many people seem to understand is that living in a boat is very different to living in a flat or a house and it has a big impact on people’s social behaviour. People seem to be more open and relaxed as admittedly they will accept the fact that the boat is where everything happens from developing a new friendship and flirting with someone to breaking up and divorcing!

A luxury boat that is moving into the seven seas is like a small floating city. One factor many people overlook at is the fact that on board there aren’t just passengers and holiday-makers but also members of staff that have to stay on the boat for long periods of time. Although this is against the regulations, there is a lot of social interaction between the members of stuff and the clients.

A common person to find in a luxury boat is about 60 years of age, wealthy and usually retired. They all come from a wide range of different professions but with a few exceptions most of them were very successful professionally. Apart from the expected diplomats, lawyers, architects, doctors and highly credited professionals it’s common to come across shop keepers, vendors and many small scale businessmen. That signifies that high education is not really one of the main factors, although a high income is.

Nevertheless, there is always a smaller percentage of people who are considerably having less but would love to try a luxury cruise. Some of them simply want to experience a different lifestyle which differs from their daily one greatly. Even though I gained most of my experiences on Silversea Cruises boats where I worked, other colleagues that used to work on Oceania Cruises and Cunard Cruises have had similar experiences.

Talking about sports, golf is definitely the king with tenis and polo being popular too. I would strongly encourage people to try a luxury cruise at least once in their life as it is definitely a unique experience worth the money spent.

Isle of Wight is famous for family holiday and also it’s music festival that goes on few times over the summer and many people are looking to go those festival one of which starts this weekend for few days. Most people just catch a ferry there yes unfortunately there is no luxury cruises that goes to Isle of Wight for all of you posh people, just kidding.

How to get to Isle of Wight from London? You will have to catch a ferry from Portsmouth from Isle of Wight now all you have to do is how you plan to get to Portsmouth. There are different ways you can take to get to Portsmouth one is to catch a coach from Victoria or catch a train from Victoria or you can always drive. I would recommend you to drive to Portsmouth then take a car ferry to Isle Of Wight.

This is the easiest way because when you get to Isle of Wight you will definitely need a car for sight seeing as public transport is not as good there. From London when driving take the M25 then exit on M3 towards Southampton you will drive in M3 for 52 miles and then you will need to take M27 exit towards Portsmouth. From M27 Portsmouth is only approximately 20 miles away. A3 will take you straight to Portsmouth where you will signs to Car Ferry. Taking that route will take you to the ferry station where you will be able to take the car ferry to Isle Of Wight. You will be put in a cue for the ferry of your time then when the time comes you will be asked to drive inside the ferry and from then its a 40 minutes journey to Isle of Wight. You don’t have to take silversea cruises or royal Caribbean cruises to get there. In total from London to Isle of Wight it will normally take around two and a half hours.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel in many different continents and countries throughout my life. I’ve had the chance to admire many of nature’s beauties that some times made me wonder whether they were real or not. From the high altitudes of the Peruvian mountains to the vast Amazon forest and from the glaciers of Patagonia to Morroco’s old clay towns there are so many memories and emotions to recall.

When it comes to choosing one of all those moments, I would definitely recall my time in the river Nile as the most electrifying one. it is impossible to put into words all those emotions and that great energy of the powerful river that used to be as sacred as the Sun. Until that day I wasn’t keen on river cruises as they didn’t seem fun to me.

Until that day, I had never seen so much beauty anywhere else than into the sea, with the Mediterranean being my favourite one. Although I had spent some years of my life living in Budapest and Prague that were built in the Danube’s banks, I was never amazed by any river until that day.

During my travel in Egypt I met a very interesting American guy that was an expert in cruise deals and convinced me that we should picked one up. According to his beliefs, for some of the greatest experiences in life there is only one chance which should not be missed. There were so many tour operators selling Nile River Cruises at the town of Aswan that I couldn’t resist trying a river cruise for the first time.

The hours we spent in the Nile were just unforgettable. Because its mouth is located into the Mediterranean sea the whole landscape seemed familiar. Thinking that it is the longest river in the world makes one realise how vital it is for that huge arid piece of land that goes all the way down into Ethiopia and Uganda. So intense was the experience I had that it makes no wonder why ancient Egyptians worship had the Nile at its center.

Sometime you know exactly the experience you want to have but no idea where to go to find it. This article is aimed at getting you prepared so that you can have a good time with whichever European cruise you decide to take. Silversea cruises offer a wide variety of luxury cruises and should be looked at if you want to take a cruise in Europe.

The most important thing you can do is get everything prepared and in order before you go, there is nothing worse than going away then realising that you forgot one vital thing. Protect yourself and your belonging with some readily available travel insurance and stop yourself from worrying while you are away. If you are a member of the EU community of countries then you will be able to get by without travel insurance whilst travelling in Europe. Although everyone will want to make sure they get travel insurance to protect their belongings from the threat of theft. Fairly cheap travel insurance can be purchased online and will cover almost anything you are planning to take with you.

Copy your most important documents such as you passport, travel documents and possible your credit cards as well. Stolen passports can be a real pain to remedy so anything you can do like having a copy of the stolen passport will help to speed things along. Photocopy or even take a detailed picture of your passport and save it somewhere online this way you will be able to get access to this information from any internet cafe around the world. It would also be beneficial to keep a copy in your bag or somewhere separate from your passport.

Money can turn into a nightmare if you don’t have it while on holiday so you will want to make sure you pay special attention to get this sorted. It is always a good idea to add a little bit of extra money to your wallet before you go just in case you find yourself in a situation where your credit card cannot be accepted.

In fact, you might have so much fun on the cruise ship that you want to spend some time on the beach relaxing and decompressing afterwards. Cruising has always been a popular way to travel, especially for Western holiday makers.
In the past cruises have been prohibitively expensive; meaning only those of a certain economic and social status were previously afforded such a luxurious way to travel. So, with the UK coming off the back of a national recession led by a new, coalition government, taking a cruise probably isn’t on the agenda of many people planning to take a holiday this year.

But are there any arguments for booking a cruise this year? With more cruise liners and companies operating than in any previous year, there is an increased level of cost, and therefore a reduced price for the final consumer, which is you. So the most obvious piece of advice to holiday makers is to get quotes from as many different holiday companies as you can before booking – there are huge nubers of companies booking for. So, the primary piece of advice here would be to take advantage of this level of competition and shop around; there are many companies offering Silver Sea Cruises, Worldwide cruises and Oceania Cruises (plus numerous others) and getting yourself a good mix of quotes will help you save money on your trip in the long run.

Let’s not forget the relative reliability of cruise liners; particularly coming out of the ash cloud nightmare caused by an Icelandic volcano. Admittedly, cruises can suffer from reliability issues due to weather, but these are becoming increasingly rare as weather prediction and sailing technologies increase.

There’s also the option of national cruises, rather than international; there are some great deals about surrounding river cruises, these are options that should certainly be looked at before deciding on your next holiday. River cruises offer a completely different set of possibilities for your holiday and will usually be just as competitively priced.

Whatever you’re opinions on cruises, it’s generally accepted that they are one of the most comfortable and luxurious ways to see the world.

I would assume most people’s decision would end up hinging on the price, particularly in the current climate. It is however well worth having a proper look online and seeing just what is available for your budget before making your decision.

Cruising has always been a popular way to travel, especially for Western holiday makers.
Previously, taking a cruise has been an expensive option, and one usually reserved for people with enough money and time to take them. Admittedly, most people probably won’t be thinking about taking a cruise given the current financial climate.

But are there any reasons to take a cruise for your next holiday?? Actually, there are. So the most obvious piece of advice to holiday makers is to get quotes from as many different holiday companies as you can before booking – there are huge nubers of companies booking for. Let’s not forget the relative reliability of cruise liners; particularly coming out of the ash cloud nightmare caused by an Icelandic volcano. On the reverse side however, cruise liners to sometimes suffer from reliability issues, although this is being addressed more and more with advance weather predicitions and advancements in sailing technology.

There are also national options for cruising, utilising rivers rather than oceans; check out some of the amazing deals available for river cruises, and this is something that should certainly be thoroughly considered before making your mind up on your holiday destination. River cruises make an excellent holiday break and are considerably less expensive that international cruises.

Whatever you feel about cruising, there’s no denying that it is (on the whole) a luxurious and relaxing form of travel and a fantastic way to see large parts of the World you just wouldn’t get to visit with regular holidays.

If you are planning to go on cruises this summer and looking for a cheap cruise line, are you struggling to find the low cost cruise, why don’t you go online and look for the resource on the Internet. Internet has made it easier for many people by having information on everything and anything. Google search engine (the biggest search engine in the World) is used Worldwide by billions of people. Billions of people around the World use the Internet to find the resources they are looking for, so why not use it to find a cheap cruising holiday.

Many people are online shopping for their needs nowadays. Internet also provides feedbacks and reviews of the product you want to buy online, this way you will get to find out if the product is worth buying or not because the feedbacks are from the people who have used the product in the past. Few weeks ago when I went online I saw some positive feedbacks and reviews on Silversea cruises on how brilliant the service was on this cruise line. Celebrity cruises got mentioned because of their major help, when they sent their cruise to help the stranded in Spain when the volcanic ash cancelled all the airlines.

In the past I have been in there cruise lines, Regent, Silversea and Fred Olsen cruises. I had a fantastic time in all these three cruise lines. The service of all of these three cruises was fantastic. The people could not have been any more friendlier and the atmosphere was great. To be honest I never wanted to come back. I think that was because I was with my family and we all were having a fantastic time.

In 2011 we are planning to go on another cruise but different cruise line, Royal Caribbean cruise. All of us are looking forward to the weather, the white sandy beaches and the rum. I found great deals on these cruises online. I found 30% cheaper deals than the travel agent on the Internet but yes it does take time to do the research.

People experience different types of stress. Stress from family, work, colleagues, their own personal stuff it can be absolutely anything. Eustress, distress, hyperstress and hypostress are common types of stresses which people experience in daily basis. There are various types of ways to help them to release these stresses and one of which is going on luxury cruises in simple words means just go on a holiday.

One of the most typical stress is generated through work. A lot of people have suffered this stress and to be honest I am sure a lot will be experiencing it in the future. The best method to tackle this stress is to just go away on holiday which gets you away from work for a while. It can be absolutely anywhere but it needs to something that will take your mind off your work. Many people think holiday is just for having fun, in a way they are right but they do not realise that being on a holiday also takes a lot off your mind because all you think about is having fun and not your work. It can also help you be a different person when you return.

Visiting different countries on holiday will teach you about different cultures. You will be able to see that many people live their life in a different way, people from different countries have different style of living than your life. You will then realise that you only live once and you should be enjoying it till it lasts, in a positive way. Learning about different culture is fascination it will definitely release your stress. There are specific niche holidays to help you release your stress such as spa holiday. Spa holidays are specifically for the reason of releasing stress but you won’t be able to learn the culture of the country or city if you just want to on a span break.

I also want to suggest going on regent cruises or princess cruises where you can not only relax but also have a fantastic time with your family and viewing a lovely scenery of the sea.

It is undeniable that luxury cruises have loyal fans and hateful enemies. Those who hate them though, most of the time haven’t even tried and they are rather biased. Many claim that luxury cruises are obsolete and they appeal just to old people just because it all started in the early days of the 20th century. Names such as the Titanic or the Britannic sound mythical for today’s standards but up to this day there are great boats all around the world. Most of them had a tragic end and that is that thrilled many people and made those boats mythical.

All of us were amazed by the story of the Titanic, especially after watching any out of the many films about that dreamboat that was supposed to be unsinkable. Some of our family members moved to the States and since then they were always coming back every 2-3 years in a cruise boat. They seemed to enjoy it so much talking about those cruises that we didn’t have much chance to interrupt them and talk about our things.

I guess that what makes luxury cruises so appealing to some people is the romance that comes with them. After so many Hollywood made cruise films it seems extraordinary if anyone will ever get in a cruise without falling in love with that beautiful and aristocratic man/woman. At the same time I knew that my budget wouldn’t make it very possible to try any of those 5 star cruises my aunties were so enthusiastic about. Sometimes they were even talking about those amazing Silversea cruises or those Oceania cruises that my parents were always very jealous.

My mind changed completely after I had the chance to experience one cruise with my family. It didn’t stop there though and since then I’ve been in a cruise 3 more times.
