The Playa Blanca hotels I’ve stayed at are some of the finest in this poart of the world and in my opinion fantastic value for money.There is a selection of accommodation – with hostels, villas and self accommodation, but it’s the fantastic hotels that I’d recommend if you fancy holidaying in Lanzarote.
As for the place itself, Playa Blanca is an old fishing village and is found on the south coast of the island.
Fuerteventura Island is not far from the coast but Playa Blanca is worlds away from the riotous nightlife of other islands.All Playa Blanca Hotels are surrounded by beautiful unspoilt beaches, amazing restaurants and shops galore. .The nightlife, as mentioned, isn’t as mental and boozy as other parts of the Canaries, but in my eye this is a good thing!
Playa Blanca Hotels and neigbouring restaurants are well known for cooking up amazing food, and well worth checking out after a day in the sun.And also think about planning a few days out and about exploring – hire a car and check out the sights.The sights to be seen are incredible, lots of white sand, volcanic landscapes and lagoons.So get your walking boots on and take a walk round and make sure you smother yourself in suncream, I’m light skinned and the last time I did this got totally burnt! And the beauty of it all is when you come back from your day of adventure, tired, tanned and a bit sweaty, you can chill out with a shower and a chilled drink and let the hotel staff run around you in the spa or sunloungers.And whatever you do, don’t feel guilty – this is your holiday and you deserve it!
